After a daring escape from a mental asylum Józef Piłsudski (Borys Szyc) regains a leadership of the underground Polish independence movement. Uncompromising on the battlefield, in his private life he is torn between two women – his wife and his lover. Considered a terrorist by conservative members of the Polish Socialist Party, Piłsudski together with his closest associates will stop at nothing to achieve his goal: independent Poland. As 1914 approaches, he sees new chances to achieve his objective.
Piłsudski is a historical drama, a passionate romance, and above all a true story of lesser-known aspects of the Polish Marshal’s life.
